Foobar overwriting tags?

I have been using simple version of foobar and had no problems, but i decided to try one of the themes they have in devianart. But now whenever i play some songs on mp3 albums i have that have embedded tags, some of them get removed(pic below)

don't wanna go back to the simple bland colorless foobar since I'm not  too good with customizing it, but i also don't wanna loose the pictures  of the mp3 songs whenever i buy albums that have the tags.  so wut dew  i do guys?

you haven't lost the tags. it's just foobar write id3v2.4 which explorer can't read. see this section of the faq.....

http://www.foobar2000.org/FAQ#tagging_files

but you should still poke the theme author with a sharp stick. i absolutely hate it when people modify files without giving you giving you prior warning. i'm sure it's one of the reason many of us use foobar in the first place - it doesn't modify files unless you explicitly tell it to.

thanks for the help mark.

Foobar suggested that i go to preferences->advanced->mp3-> and tick the 'id writer compatibility mode'  I have done this and now i am going to downloaded a couple mp3 sample albums that have embedding on them to see if this method works.

I hope this works.

everything seems to be in working order now. No more lost tags or embedded mp3 icons disappearing ever since i clicked that compatible option in the advanced tab !

seems like the column ui theme was interfering with the id3v2.4. Thanks again Marc, I prolly would have been clueless on what to do if it wasn't for your help
