1212m digital noise

yes... i'm back with more whoes. i swear i need a new computer or something...

anyhow, when i have 24/96 digital input into the 1212m from my bluray player, i get a really high pitched whiny noise like on an old school tube tv, but a lot louder. this is both on coax and optical. i told the player to output pcm downmixed to 2 channel so i am hearing all the proper audio, but i guess i'm getting a nice noisy soundtrack on top of it. i plugged in another player just to see if it was my computer or the dvd player, but the other player makes the same high pitch sound as well, so i'm guessing it's my computer. any ideas? until then, i'm just running off of the analog inputs, which work dandy
