Vista Explorer + "Play with"... bug

There's a feature in the Windows Vista explorer, that lets you play all music in a folder with your default player. Now, it seems that for some folders it does it properly, for some it ONLY wants to play them with Windows Media Player, showing the fb2k icon nonetheless...

So a screenshot of the bug:

... and of how it is supposed to look like:

Anyone know how to fix this, and what is causing it?

thanks,

kls

I didn't even sort out how to make the "Play all" button use a player other than WMP, therefore it became useless for me.

I have a pull down arrow beside the "Play" button, and I can choose foobar2000.

You're talking about the left button. You get the dropdown when selecting one audio file. As Windows became pretty complicated in file associations, I would try all obvious places (like start -> standard programs.

I think more interesting is the "Play all" button, which is hardly configurable, but I don't want to steal the thread  EDIT: HUH?! My windows uses fb2k now for "Play all".

This is due to an improved file opening behaviour in Windows Vista and will be fixed in the next major release of foobar2000.

Could you fix the max 15 files rightclick menu as well?
