File Type Associations

Hi everyone.  Awesome little program we have here... as we already know.

Anyways, I am having a very simple issue that may not even be foobar related.  I am using Vista and have made foobar my default player by right clicking on a music file.  However, the icons did not change to the foobar icons.  Also, when I go into the foobar preferences and try to change the file types, it states this error:

An error occured while changing file type associations. If you are using a limited account, please contact your system administrator.

So, any idea of where this conflict is coming from?

Right-click your Foobar shortcut and choose "run as administrator."  I ran into the same thng, made me want to HULK SMASH.

If I remember correctly this is only a problem with foobar2000 0.9.4.x and below. 0.9.5 beta should handle per-user file associations.
