downsampled SBR

Hi,
can somebody please throw  light on the quality of downsampled SBR mode compared to hq sbr and aac.

IMHO DSBR isn't usefull for low bitrates <112kbps, but on higher bitrates is very hard to ABX between DSBR and LC-AAC. 14khz LC-AAC+SBR @128kbps sounds me a better solution than real LC-AAC @ 128kbps. But that need to be tested more , this is just from my ears
