Perhaps weirdest bug of all

For some reason when I play anything in foobar (which worked great before now), my PC clock starts going 3-4x fast.  Not playback speed - the actual realtime clock.  I tried the same things in WMP, but was unable to reproduce it there.

I am a programmer - understanding how things work, foobar being able to cause this makes absolutely no sense to me.  I'm inclined to think it could be a Creative driver issue (their Vista driver sucks).  So this isn't so much a bug report for foobar, I just thought I would register to share a bizzare experience.  The bug has since stopped happening
