fb2k + Phase24FW + KernelStreaming?

hi folks

i just switched from an ESI Juli@ (which supported foobars kernelstreaming brilliantly) to my new Terratec Phase24FW  (FireWire) and i can't get KernelStreaming to work, neither ASIO.

Is KS not supported with FireWire devices or am i doing something wrong?

ASIO works with Winamp, but i had such a hard time moving to foobar that i don't wanna switch back to winamp again 
In fb2k the ASIO part tells me "Error while querying ASIO devices...please stop playback blabla" you guess it, no other application is playing or using asio.
