Is there a way to include a custom rename script when ripping CDs?

I have been building a script for organizing (renaming and moving) my entire music library (using File Operations --> Move, Rename or Copy files), but is there a way to include it when ripping CDs, so that foobar will automatically place them in the correct folders? As is is now, I manually have to select the exact location it should rip to.

not sure the detail of your script, but have you tried modifying the output file name?  (ctrl+p, tools > converter)  this way you just have to select, say, the drive letter, and it will create subfolders based on the filename "script".  not sure which functions will work in it (if any), though.  it may just use strings.

As far as I know, the Converter settings only include filenames. I'm talking about a complete directory structure too. In MediaMonkey, I just selected the "base folder" and set the auto file name/location thingy according to simple tags, and it placed them exactly where I wanted them, e.g. (under the base directory)  "album artist\album artist - year - album\tracknumber - artist - title". Of course in foobar, I now have a more advanced script placing tracks at different basic locations depending on tag (all "normal" albums go here with these kind of filenames, soundtrack albums go there with those kind of albums, etc.).

Just add backslashes to to filename, also the basic titleformatting functions should work. (ie $if,[])
