Cant Rip! Copy Protected?

I am completely unable to rip my copy of Charlie Sexton Sextet - Under the Wishing Tree. I have searched the web high and low to find out if it is copy protected but cant seem to find any indication that it is.

Im using EAC, I always have auto-run disabled. In secure mode every song on the prestine disc immediatly begins to go into error recovory mode. I can rip it in burst mode, but test crcs never match.

According to Amazon.de, this is a 1995 album ... I highly doubt that it is copy protected.

I find it more likely that your CD has died of ageing some time ago ... if you e.g. own a LiteOn or Plextor drive, you could try to run a BLER scan with either K-Probe/Nero (LiteOn) or Plextools (Plextor) to see what's left of your disc.
The name was Plex The Ripper, not Jack The Ripper

I didnt know if I had a re-release. I have never had any of my old cds from the early 90s degrade, but this sounds like the best explanation so far. Ill try a plextools scan
