Problems With The Hydrogenaudio.org Domain

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm aware of the fact that the original site (hydrogenaudio.org) is down (replaced by the domain registration service).  I'm having some problems getting the domain moved over, but it's being worked on.  Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon, and hydrogenaudio.org will point to this page, as was originally intended.

OK, I've got a question.  Not a biggie, this doesn't keep me awake at nights or anything, but ...

Why does Dibrom (HA Founder / Coordinator / Admin / Member #1) have a profile that says he joined on 25 August 2002?  Hasn't this board been around a lot longer than that?

I assume that's the exact date the new site was created and (some) stats
had to be reset

The old site still comes up on Google and the re-direction worked fine this morning.

Quick update:

Most of the issues I was having with getting the domain renewed seperate from my old hosting service and getting it prepared to move to the new nameserver should be solved now.  Tomorrow I'm going to finish things up, and after that it should only take a day or 2 for the change to propogate across the rest of the internet.

Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused anyone

Would you mind adding a redirecting function already embedded within the page via, PHP, javascript or something of that nature @ http://www.audio-illumination.org/ so I don't have to keep clicking on 'here' everytime I want to visit the forums. It would be well worth the effort. Thanks.

I'd rather not because audio-illumination.org is never going to be the main url for the forums here.  Instead, I have plans to put up an entirely seperate page at that url, something which is not directly related to the forums themselves.  I don't want to put up a redirect now and have people start linking to it only to have to have them change their links again later.

Once I have the domain issue fixed up, hydrogenaudio.org will point to the forums here, along with forums.audio-illumination.org and the current url of audio-illumination.org/forums/.

Don't you have a shortcut to http://www.audio-illumination.org/forums/ ?

It's faster for me to type it in then to go and find in using bookmarks, toolbar, etc. I have a lot of bookmark's as well that point to research documentation and it would be a hassel at that trying to find it. I just figured it would be easier, but seeing that Dibrom would rather not change it I understand where he is coming from.
