I think this is kindo of funny:

When I ripped files with audiograbber version 1.83 (normal AudioCD ripper), then encoded with lame 3.90.3 APS, the bitrate was the same like ripped with EAC and same MP3 Codec.

But when I used Lame 397a11 APS --vbr-new, the bitrate was 3-4 kbps different....

EAC produced MP3 files with 3-4kbps more..... the same exe was used with the same APSvbrnew setting....

So I think that's a reason why vbr-new could be better...
