foo_dop won't recognize iPod touch 4th Gen

I would like to get into foobar, I really don't like iTunes much, but I can't get it to recognize my iPod.

I installed foo_dop, i installed iPhoneCalc, I have the most recent iTunes installed, yet foobar can't find my ipod when I plug it in.

Idk what info I need to provide, but am willing to. Somebody please help me get this working.

foo_dop is unlikely to see development so it appears we are stuck with it

uh... its very popular, id say it was more popular than foobar which appears to have a lot of hype but not many users that wish to contribute.

However I really dont like media monkey. The main thing I dont like about it is it has a library that works kinda like itunes...
You can ask media monkey to check the folders in which your music lies. Then it "updates it library" which can take quite a while depending on the amount of music you have... THEN when you change anything in the music folder, you need to update the library which probably would be automatic but because i only use mediamonkey for ipod stuff, it doesnt update because i close it....

Im not sure if its always like this but i like foobar so much that i dont want to fix media monkey... a HUGE thing that I like about foobar is that the media appears almost instantly when i boot it up. I hated itunes because it needed to save the location of the music seperately in its own "library"

i dont know if im making any sense so ill just shut up.
