24 bit ASIO Output

Hi, I've been playing with the kx drivers for my Audigy 2 soundcard.  I was wondering, if I am using winamp with the MAD input plugin set at 24 bits and using an ASIO output plugin, will that output be 24 bits?  I know that the output is 24 bits using directsound SSRC, but this may be going through unessescary domains (kmixer).

Also, does anyone know if having things like Surrounder and 10 band EQ in the DSP signal path will result in resampling and affect the 24 bittedness of it all?

Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me on this stuff.
