updating flac embedded cuesheet?

i have been using the following WONDERFUL program to generate single file flac archives with embedded cuesheets:

http://www.uninformative.com/flacattack

foobar2000 is what i use for managing my music library.  i have been regularly using the freedb and masstagger features of foobar2000 to update and modify tags.  but i have notice that the new info no longer seems to be saved to the file. let me explain the scenario in more detail:

after creating the "archive" file with flacattack, i drag the file to foobar2000.  the album displays properly.  i then select all and right click freedb, get tags, and pick a new tag that better represents the album info.  i can then look at the properties and see my new tag info, including any new tag fields that were added during the freedb get tags process (i.e. comments), and then can update the file to save it.  but if i reload the info from file, it goes right back to what is stored in the embedded cuesheet tag that it was given by eac.

is there any way that the file can be permanently given the new tag info?

I tried to simulate your scenario and the tags were being saved when I tried this. I'm not sure what the problem might be.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the tags will remain in database not in the file itself since flac only store cue point not metadata.  If you move the file, the tag you had put in with freedb doesn't follow the file and that show the file untagged again.

Flacs can store metadata. They can hold lots of tags. I'm assuming schnittlich is telling foobar to apply the tags. Is that correct?

I know flac tags can store lots of metadata, i was talking about the portion of the header allowed to stored the embeded cuesheet

I don't think schnittlich is trying to modify the embedded cue sheet. Its the flac tags. They should maintain any changes made by using masstagger through freedb.
