Can't start a new topic/poll in the Polls forum

Well, the title says it all. Do only administrators have the right to start a new poll or am I missing something here?

But why are there polls in the polls forum started by normal members ? Have they been moved ?

example:

And, why aren't normal members allowed to start polls in the polls forum ?
I know that I know nothing. But how can I then know that ?

Yeah, I think regular users always had the hability to post new polls. It's probably a permission issue related with the upgrade of the forum software that no one noticed yet. Dibrom or any other admin can fix this easily, I guess.

I started this "What's your location ?" poll:

In the polls forum there's this "What's your age ?" poll:

http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=781

"What's your age" is almost the same like "What's your location", isn't it ? And thus equally important.
So, as long as a moderator has no explanation why he thinks, age is more important than location, he should
-either move "What's your location" into the polls forum
-or move "What's your age" into offtopic. (and some others, of course; like "OS of choice", "how much would you donate for a new PC for Frank" etc. These polls have nothing to do with audio.)

Perhaps I'm still missing something here. Can't polls be moved ? Or are there already statistics ?
