ABC/HR

Hi,

Ive used this tool, and i think its pretty good.    I would like to take part in some listening tests.  But i have a question.  Wouldnt it be better to make the main screen reflect the ABX part if successfully used (to within good confidence levels)?  If you understand what im trying to say.  I think this would make it a better tool.    Perhaps this could be included in future versions?

Yes, if you are able to successfully ABX a sample against the original, then in the ABC/HR window, the reference slider which accompanies that sample should be grayed out.  This idea has been mentioned before but not implemented in either the windows or java versions.

There would have to be another input in the configuration file which defines the criterion for a successful ABX.  Also, sample vs. sample ABX tests would not be affected, of course.

However, I don't plan to further update the windows version of ABC/HR except to fix bugs, of which there is only one minor one which I have been able to verify personally (general comments don't get cleared when a new test is started).

That's correct.  Not implemented in current versions.
