ui_columns selection model vs. ui_std

One thing I like an awful lot about the basic ui is that you can use Ctrl-click to select sections of a playlist.  This is a nice enhancement to the standard Windows Shift/Ctrl selection model.  This was I can select multiple ranges rather than only one range via Shift-click.

For converting lots of files to AAC/MP3 or masstagging its nearly a requirement.

Any idea when/if ui_columns will support this enhanced selection model?

for some reason it uses alt+ instead of ctrl+

ctrl+ is used to enable drag and drop between playlists etc.

personally, I would like to have the normal ctrl+ behavior.

Agree.  Also, from what I can tell, these are not settable via the mechanism that Foobar uses for key mapping, which is probably reasonable.  You'd have to treat left-mouse click as keystrokes?
