vitual drive and ape

i mount cd images onto my drive (using alcohol 120). can i do that with ape files?
only way i can figure out is to decompress it with monkey's and edit the cue file.

I doubt it - an ape file is not the same thing as a CD image (iso, bin/cue).

i can mount wav files with its cue but i guess that's b/c wav is uncompressed data?
how about using winamp but with tracks.
