EAC screen refresh problem?

I've recently been using EAC (0.94b1 and recently 0.95pb1) via RealVNC.  I have a server with a Plextor PX-W1210A on which a VNC server (as a service) is installed.

VNC works great with pretty much everything, but when I load up EAC (on the server, via VNC), the CPU usage goes to the roof.  It is the RealVNC service (on the server) that goes crazy.  My guess is EAC is constantly refreshing the screen even if nothing happens.

Could I be right?  If so, is this something André plans to fix?

Maybe give tightVNC a try.
