burnatonce 0.99.5 new features:
  • Added Options window for most settings

Yes it is... to the people that spend a lot of time here.
But news should be useable to people that haven't seen the program also.

What good is news if you don't know what changed?

Hi. am sorry about that, i did discover my miss after submiting,
but there isn`t a edit option on this board.
In addition to solaris post, here`s the full changelog:

GENERAL
-  Added Settings -> Options window for most settings
-  Added Delete Images option to Options -> General
-  Added move output.txt to root of burnatonce folder
-  Added new style 'browse for folder' dialog on supported systems
-  Added specify speed used for disc erase (instead of maximum)
-  Added specify --force for disc erase if selected
-  Added Save Window Position option to Options Window
-  Added user no longer needs to set UseProDVD=True in ini file
-  Added read data cd and dvd to iso image format
-  Added support of SPTI enabled ProDVD for dvd writing

DATA MASTERING
-  Added option to enable/disable dvd title guessing in data mastering
-  Added status bar now shows compilation size in megabytes
-  Removed checksum support in preparation of improved implementation

I'm a happy burnatonce user, too. And this new version supports drag-and-dop! This was the only thing I've been missing till now. It's slim and you don't have to put up a fight in order to keep those long filenames. More power to it!

Now, if you could only default it to open a project-window right at startup...

I set it up this morning.

Remember to check the export cd text box in the new options window or you will think cd text is broken.

The auto complie and auto write options had no effect, at least for audio.  Might be broken or not yet implemented fully.

99.5 fixes a major bug where the pregap for the first track was a noncompliant 4 seconds when the track (and usually all of the others) had been set for 2 seconds of silence.  I did not try the other settings for pre and post gap, they were buggy in the last version.

All in all a very nice program for burning audio as it supports formats other than mp3 and will also do cue sheets on more drives than EAC.  I use other stuff to burn data, mp3's and DVD.

Hello,

I installed burnatonce on Windows XP Pro. When I try to start it as unprivileged user it shows two error messages:

Error 70: Permission denied
Error occurred in: frmMain:objDOS_ReceiveOutputs

App Version: 0.99.5   Windows Version: 5.1.2600

Error occurred in: frmMain:objDOS_ReceiveOutputs

App Version: 0.99.5   Windows Version: 5.1.2600


Is somebody else too getting this error messages? It does start up without errors when I start with administrator privileges.

I'm not sure if I should send a bug report as it seems that the problem could be related to the VB Runtimes...

Any hints?
