Volume slider in foobar2000 mobile for iOS

Hello

I'm using foobar2000 mobile on an old iPad with iOS 12.5.7 (no iOS update possible). I don't see any volume controls in the Playback Controls. I can ofcourse change the volume with the physical buttons on the Ipad or with the slider in the iOS mini player. But it would be nice to be able to change the volume directly from within the foobar app. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

You can enable volume control on playback screen by skinning.
Because the default skins (black and white) do not contain [volume] element, they display no volume control slider.

See this and this for reference.

I created a skin with volume control slider previously, but it displays the slider only on devices with 9:19.5 and 9:20 aspect ratio, such as recent iPhones.
As a result, however, I have removed the volume control slider in more recent skins of mine, as I found it important to avoid accidental mishandling by the volume control slider.
If you are concerned, try it.

Ok Daiki, thanks a lot. I'll give it a try tomorrow and keep you informed.
Btw, this old iPad has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.

The Metro skin includes a volume slider in landscape view, see Metro skin

The Metro skin displays the volume slider, the Nightowl skin doesn't (I probably downloaded a recent version).
Many thanks to Daiki and sacduser for your help!

Yes. Because the Nightowl skin does not contain a subskin for devices with 4:3 aspect ratio, the application resizes 16:9 subskin, which does not have a [volume] element, to fit 4:3 display.
The Nightowl displays a volume slider only on mobile device with 19.5:9 or 20:9 display aspect ratio.

Metro UI is a well-designed skin that includes subskins with a volume slider for various devices.
