Using fb2k to load songs to DJ software (rekordbox/traktor/serato)

hi there,

i find the browsing/searching/tagging in DJ software sorely lacking, and would like to somehow configure a keyboard shortcut whereby I can load the focused song in fb2k into a specified deck on my DJ software (i'm using rekordbox at the moment but open others)

initially i though of using the foo_run component to pass focussed file via commandline to the DJ software, unfortunatley none of them seem to support loading from commandline

i am now investigating emulating drag-and-drop using software such as autohotkey, we shall see if that bears fruit..

does anyone have any suggestions/experience doing anything similar?

Hi. Have the same requested before a time at Virtual DJ. Unfortunately, nobody could help me. I have been working with FOOBAR and Virtual DJ for many years with a 2nd monitor. Drag and drop is still required and works well. I think the manufacturer of the DJ software is asked. FOOBAR support this function via the Run commands.
