Preferences - Output - fading - Automatic track Change - missing

Hi,

I am running Foobar2000 V1.6.8 and want to fade between tracks.  Quick google and I can see this is possible.  However, when I look at Preferences - Output - fading - Automatic track Change - this option is missing.  I've checked with a friend who has an older version and it is there for them.

I've got the same issue across all my output devices.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

It is done by adding the Crossfader DSP to the (left) active list in Preferences > Playback > DSP Manager and click '...' to configure duration.

Hi - thanks for the reply.  I have tried switching this on, adjusting the fade as you suggest and changed my device to use the DSD output but not getting any track to track fade.  I did try another of the DSD options to see if that was applied - and that did seem to work.

Very strange. :o

DSD output doesn't work with fading. Or any processing whatsoever.

Thanks for the reply Kode54 - I am trying to get the fading through my RMA ADI-2 - This is how I've got it selected currently.  Can you advise if I should be using this option or if not which of the many other Output options I have to allow the fading to work correctly?

Thanks

Mike
