Boosting volume during Conversion tool processing

Hey all,

I'm a bit of an a portable audio geek. I already have my collection mp3gained to the value of 93db which suits well on a couple of DAPs.

Currently I have amassed a couple more that are on the quieter side of things and I'm wanting to copy files over to them (on a sd card) that has the volume slightly louder than the 93db my collection currently sits at.

So, my foobar2000 is already scanning my mp3gained library at 93db (and I have foobar2000's replaygain turned off). If I want to use the conversion tool to copy a playlist across that I have made in playlist manager in foobar, what exactly do I do?
I mean, I'm already applying things like crossfade and slight eqing during the process (for fun and better matching the sound signatures of the DAP), i'm just not sure how to correctly apply the replaygain aspect in the conversion tool to boost db by say another 3-4 (most modern material I come across seems to sit around 97-98db anyway...).

NB: I also tend to shuffle and add a mixture of material in this playlist, so it's not 1-2 albums in sequential going in, it's a jumbled mess crossfaded :D

So I simply go to 'Processing' and select the '...' box for Replaygain and select Source mode as 'track' and Processing as 'apply gain' and then under Preamp boost both bars by +3.0? Would this then convert the 93db mp3 files to being 96db in the new folder?
