Your opinion on the Kameleon?

Has anyone here built the Kameleon? Or has anything good or bad to say about it and its headphone correction modules?

It looks interesting on paper, not sure if it's reliable (as in 'working properly' as far as the module system is concerned).

Is it really just an equalizer?

supposedly the author who designed the amplifier measures the headphones, then tries to get a better curve by creating a dedicated hardware filter for each model of headphone. The Kameleon II desktop amp is an amplifier with a socket for those filters. Anyone can build the amp and the filters, and send in his/her headphones to get measured.

An equalizer could do the same thing, but your ears nor mine can do audibly what a good measuring setup can do.
