Audio receiver with input overrides

Hi Everyone,

I have a good question about an audio receiver. I'm looking for a receiver that have an input that automatically override all other inputs when a signal is detected from that specific input?

Example: You have music playing from an input and as soon as you start an automated process from another input, the receiver should play only the signal coming from the input override.

Thanks for the help,

On PA/background music systems there is sometimes a "microphone precedence" input, where the music cuts-out when the switch on mic is pressed.

There is also a process called ducking which is accomplished with a compressor.  That's not going to work with just a receiver, because a receiver allows one input at a time.  But, it can be done with a mixer (and a compressor that supports "side chaining").
