Ripping CD

I can't rip a CD. The "Rip" is in grey, even though I have (I think copied in all the components)

Simply copying is the wrong thing to do. Check out ripping software. Names like EAC, CDEX, and a raft other fine software that others may prefer comes to mind.

If ripping software is being used, there is absolutely no way to provide any help if it hasn't been specified.

If I had to guess it's foobar2000, in which case this should have been posted to the dedicated foobar2000 forum.  Otherwise, this should have been posted to the sub-forum for CD Hardware and Software.

All new members are expected to read the rules prior to posting as well as stickies at the top of the sub-forums to which they wish to post.
