Title: [Foobar2000 1.4 Beta 2] Volume Ramp Up Issue
Post by: Pete7874 on 2018-01-12 17:42:41
I am having some random volume ramp up issues on 1.4 Beta 2 running on Windows 7.  Sometimes while Foobar2000 is playing audio and I am browsing the web, when I navigate to a page that has audio playing (like youtube or facebook), Foobar2000's volume will get ramped down. That's fine.  The problem is, when I navigate away from audio playing page, sometimes Foobar2000's volume will not return back to the full level.  I then have to either stop and restart the track or restart Foobar2000.

I am using Firefox as my web browser.  This did not happen in previous Foobar2000 versions.  But it's random. Sometimes the volume ramps back up correctly. Sometimes it does not.

Anyone else seeing this?

UPDATE:  I ran Online Troubleshooter. It told me foo_channel_mixer could be problematic, so I removed it.

I don't know if this was a coincidence, but now Foobar2000's volume does not ramp down or up when I play other audio from web pages.   I'll keep an eye out and report back if the problem returns.
