Title: fb2k doesn't let system to sleep
Post by: thecircusfreak on 2013-02-27 16:22:25
I noticed lately that fb2k registers a "power request" on music playback prohibbiting pc from going to sleep. It's the foobar2000.exe process and NOT some audio driver as I can see from powercfg /requests output.

Is this a bug or feature? The old behaviour was keeping the system awake only in case converter was running. Maybe the recent converter changes have sth to do with that?

foobar2000 has prevented system from automatically sleeping during music playback since version 0.9.6.2 from 2009 (related thread (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=68943)). This is not a bug.
