I'm clearing some of the clutter out of my interface, and I would like to put the play counter in the status bar. Unfortunately, it seems that the status bar only shows information for the currently playing song. I would like the status bar to show the play count of whatever song is currently selected, regardless of whether it is playing or not.
Is there any way to make it follow the cursor like the album art and track info plugins can?
