Title: EAC can't detect drives
Post by: aj7360 on 2006-03-23 22:43:22
Just rebuilt my PC and reloaded completely.

The system contains a DVD burner and plain ol CD-ROM.

Next installed EAC... but it doesn't see the drives.

I used it before and it was fine. I can see how to get it to detect them.

you'll need to re-install an ASPI layer.  i personally like forceaspi, at:

[a href="http://force_aspi_18.w.interia.pl/]ForceASPI[/url] but any aspi will do.  i think that the homepage has links to VOB's ASAPI software layer as well if you peek for it.  then you have to set the eac options to tell it which interface to look for to use.

Google for WNASPI32.DLL and put it in your EAC folder.

EAC Options>Interface (tab)>(check) Installed external ASPI interface.
