now is there a way to extract codec info as well (video and audio)? (iam not getting anywhere with GetUserData(vide); for example)
Did you try the navigator.mimeTypes and navigator.plugins arrays?
uhmm, you sure those will go down to the codec level? - i dont care what user has installed at this point, i just want to read the codecs from a specific movie, like:
