Title: Encspot anylysis-true info?
Post by: crazyman on 2005-03-04 14:52:24
Hi all,
I analyzed mp3 structure of one track with the latest Encspot 2.0. I used 3.97a7 V2 --vbr-new setting of Lame when I changed one track (just fading out the end)  by mp3trim which should not implement any dramatical changes, but Encspot reports with these changes (faded out by mp3trim/originally ripped):
Lame tag: no/yes
Quality: -1/78
VBR method: unknown/vbr-mtrh
Low pass filter: unknown/19 000
Psychoacoustic model: gpsycho/nspsytune
Safe joint stereo: no/yes
ath type: 0/4
abr bitrate: unknown/80
Input frequency: 32 or less/44.1 (BTW, what is the difference between "frequency" and "input frequency", both terms are used in EncSpot?

Any comments or explanations?

Cheers,

crzmn

All the infos that were lost are normally stored in the Lame tag; so it seems mp3trim chopped off the lame tag for some reason.
