Is anyone using the newsgroups for aac / m4a downloading? There's a ton of MP3 related groups and an excellent source for files.
With the groups available now, it's pretty slim pickings. I would like to get something started if not out of place.
Here's what I've found so far:

There are a few "lossless" groups too, ape & flac mostly. These should be pretty good for transcoding into AAC.

- No Warez. This includes warez links, cracks and/or requests for help in getting illegal software or copyrighted music tracks!

i suggest you at least remove the names of the newsgroups because this is not allowed here. as for downloading from the lossless groups and make AAC files out of whatever is posted there, imho that sort of defies the purpose of the lossless groups. people who hang around there are usually there to get lossless files.
