I was looking for something somehow "material" which should represent the entire community without advertising something commercial like Sennheiser cans.

please don't take that logo too serious

Good one, but IMO the lines of "hydrogen" should have the same width as the logo's 1/4 circles. The lines of the description text look to thin also. More kerning in 'hydrogenaudio' would be good too.
