Title: Proper AACGain download link
Post by: bradwiggo on 2023-07-10 13:27:14
Is there a proper AACGain download link? The old one was http://aacgain.altosdesign.com/ from searching the forums, but it's dead. There is GitHub that comes up when you search on Google, but is this the correct place to download? (https://github.com/dgilman/aacgain)

Is there a official link for the Linux version? It mentions compiling it from source in the README that I got from the site you linked, but the source code isn't included.

So far as I am aware, there is only a Windows version of this. I have source code relating to an earlier version, but not to the latest version. In order to compile it you also require mp4v2, faad2 and mp3gain code and probably not the current versions! I can make the earlier code available if you think it's of any use but you may struggle to get a usable compile.
