I'm keeping a portable 1.6x install of FB2k around just for using the current version of this component.

Is recompiling/updating this component for Foobar2000 v2 on anyones radar yet ?

It should work fine on 32bit v2.

You'll have to wait and see if anyone takes on the request for 64bit.

That's a good point. I actually hadn't thought of installing the 32-bit version.
