Title: Set my sound card to null output. How do I get the sound back now?
Post by: TheMagnificentGoldberg on 2017-05-03 08:54:46
Sorry to have an easy question.

I started the computer in safe mode yesterday because I had starting problems. It started OK, so I tried running Foobar. Got a screen inviting me to change sound card settings. It wouldn't do anything else, so, like a cretin, I set it to null output. Now I can't get that screen back.

How do I reverse this damn stupid thing I've done?

1. Press CTRL + P and click on "output".
2, Under Device choose Primary Sound Driver or DS: Primary Sound Driver and click apply.

Reboot back into normal mode for Windows first.  Audio drivers don't load under safe mode.
