Title: MP3Gain iTunes question
Post by: yourdaddy204 on 2017-01-20 15:02:14
Hi all,
So I have a huge MP3 collection, I was just wondering if I use MP3Gain in Windows 10 to "normalize" all the audio in my library, if the changes will take effect in iTunes without needing me to do anything else?.

I was thinking of this idea while doing something the other day and it actually exists!, great!. I just need to know this before I try to use it, i dont want to break anything. Thanks.

Yes.  MP3Gain (unlike ReplayGain) changes the MP3 file itself so it's compatible with everything.

Note that iTunes has Sound Check (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201724), which is similar to ReplayGain.
