Title: Is album ReplayGain on two separate tracks equal to track ReplayGain o

I'm new to the RMS normalization process and ReplayGain, and I'm trying out an interesting programing project involving calculating ReplayGain info for media files at various grouping levels.

In my test scenario, I have 4 audio files (A, B, C, and D), each representing a track. B and C are two halves of the same song, they segue seamlessly into each other. I have concatenated B and C into a new file, called BC.

My question: if I were to calculate the album ReplayGain of B and C (the two separate tracks), and the track ReplayGain of BC (the concatenated track), would the values be equal?

It would have probably been faster to just scan those files with foobar or similar, but yes.
