Why Foobar2000 displays the same cover for 5 tracks that have different covers?

My album has 5 tracks and has a different cover for each track, but it shows the same cover of the first track that I put to play for the rest of the tracks.

For example, track 1 has its own cover, track 2 has its own different cover, and the other 3 tracks have the same cover. All these 5 tracks belong to the same album, image:

So when I go to Foobar2000, if I'm not playing anything yet, selecting each track with the click shows me its respective cover. But when I play the first of any of those 5 tracks, the rest of those 5 tracks show the cover of the first one that I played, image:

This is fine (Playback stopped and selecting tracks with click)

This is good too (Playing the first track with its respective cover)

This is when things start to fail (Playing second track, but the cover of the first track is shown)

And the same happens with the other 3 tracks (Playing third, fourth and fifth track, but the cover of the first track is shown)

Any suggestion? Please :'(

I already reinstalled the stable version of Foobar2000 and the error still continues, I also tried the beta version and it is the same.

The player is hard coded to cache covers based on Album+Artist, with no differentiation for individual files with different artwork.

And there is no option that I can touch to change that? Or maybe you guys have plans to add an option for future versions? :(

I think this problem is a bug in current versions. There have been a few threads now -

07-Jul  https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php?topic=121276.0

One mentioned the issue started in foobar v1.65, so perhaps you could try installing an older version and report if that helps?

(Can @Peter confirm?)

I can confirm too that 1.6.4 doesn't have this problem.

Well, I'll try to install version 1.6.4

Indeed, in version 1.6.4 the cover viewer correctly shows the cover of each track regardless of whether the tracks belong to the same album and artist, without problems.

I hope that the developers can fix this problem in future versions, because yes, it's a problem.

I have everything working as it should with such settings. foobar2000 1.6.7

Why is my Preferences window different from yours? I installed the latest version 🤔

I have an interface Columns UI

I have an interface Columns UI
Then the bug still persists... if you use an UI different than the one that comes with native foobar (DUI), behavior may be obviously different.

Certainly the bug is still in the DUI (Default User Interface), but I managed to get the same interface that I had in DUI and put it in CUI (Columns UI) and only in that way the bug is "fixed", without the need to remove the respective value in the tag "Album Artist" of my songs.

DUI with bug

CUI with bug "fixed"

I will take this as a solution, thanks @SergPuh.68 👌
