Flac tag fields from cue using metaflac

Hey

I was wondering if it is possible to write the tag fields of flac file/files from cue using metaflac.
All I could do is "attach" the cue sheet to the flac file. But I actually want just set the fields (artist / title / ...) according to .CUE sheet

Thanks!

I always use cuetag for that. It's a script that comes with the cuetools package on most linux distro's. I'm not sure how to do it on other systems, I guess with CUETools?

It isn't possible to do this automatically with metaflac, you'll have to do it by hand.
Music: sounds arranged such that they construct feelings.

thanks ktf!

Well I'll build a script to read the .cue sheet and write them tags to the flac then.
Flac team should write some tools to handle such trivial thing. Lets hope for the next version!
