i wonder if there is a possibility to make the albumlist panel under the "directory structure" view sort folders not by folder name, but by last modified date?

This question is pretty similar to mine sio I'll sort of bump this on z80a's behalf. I too am looking for a way to sort the albumlist panel. i, too, am using the directory view because it is the easiest to work with for now. I'd like to sort the folders alphabetically into tabs like a file folder system. that would mean limiting what is displayed in the list to A-K, for example.
z80a - have you tried some of the other plug-ins - the Explorer tree e.g.? I didn't us it much but you might see if it does what you need. I don't recall what its scripting capabilites are.
