Hi, i'm new here so please go easy on me... i have a question for any of you who could perform or have some kind of understanding towards spectral analysis..
ok, based on the link below:

does it look like a flac file to you? i mean it shouldnt have the so called low passed filter at around 16khz, rite?? compared to other flac files which look much cleaner than this one, this file seems to be a bit strange (but thats my opinion though).. Help?
Maybe it would help if you told us where you got the file from?
1. What has led you to believe there is a low pass filter at 16kHz or otherwise?
2. You are more likely to get answers by asking the retailer than looking at pictures.
That file isn't low passed.. there would be virtually no info above 16kHz if it was and I see content all the way up to 22kHz.. It looks like there is a 16kHz hum or something in it.
Given the character of the noise floor at the top-end, it's looking like this file was mastered with noise shaping.
It looks like there is a 16kHz hum or something in it.
That would be pickup of horizontal scan frequency from an old-fashioned CRT TV. In my youth I could hear that frequency being emitted by the TV, but those days are long gone.

i got it from mediafire. it was linked from another forum website.
So you don't legally own this file?
