update components network error
foobar2000 1.6.4 Win 10 Pro (no proxy set in Networking pref)
Is it still possible to use update components?

foobar2000 v1.6.4 (DarkOne v4.0 Theme)
Windows 10 Pro
Questions...
Preferences -> Components -> Installed components -> Get updates button
Is this setting still in use?
Or is it disabled?
Can someone confirm it is working? Or not?
Or is it only my settings that won't work?
Any info on this is much appreciated.
Best regards,
redorb

It's working as it should.
If you get an network error, well, it is error on your windows side, probably some firewall or anti virus software that are blocking foobar to access network.

Checked through the detailed and cumbersome firewall settings list longer than both my arms and legs... and I'm 6'7... and I found it!!
It's alive!! I have absolutely no clue when I made that deny setting in firewall? F*** me!!
For a moment I thought I was on the "Von Oben" deny help list... :D
Much appreciated!

Hello hello, looks like I have the same problem, even with firewall set to OFF. Using windows 7, have same issue on two installs, and got it working on Win 10 so i started to suspect OS issue.

Can you please share more details on which firewall rule ?

I was thinking its related to component in foobar I am using - but looks like its connected with this issue

Sorry for trouble - it was TLS issue and I was able to get it fixed from   https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,50523.msg959259.html#msg959259
