foo_midi suggestion

Since most of the midi files are really loud (at least comparing to most of my "normal" audio files), it would be nice if we could have a slider where we could adjust the pre amp for midi files. Most of the midi files I have even seem to clip a lot.

Loudness is entirely dependent on which synthesizer and/or SoundFont bank you are using. In most cases I've tried, the default is sufficient. I'm just curious, but what settings are you using, and which files are you finding too loud?

In the mean time, you could also add Advanced Limiter to the end of your DSP chain to prevent the clipping.
