NUENDO issues

i am having this problem with the built in encoders in nuendo. whenever i try to encode a 5.1 ch mix to dts , the system crashes. on the other hand the dolby ac3 encoder gives me results far from satisfactory, meaning it sounds all hollow and panned on to one side. however export to mono 6 wavs works flawlessly and resultant ac3 with acid pro  and dts with surcode gives me good results. so the original samples are probably not the issue. have tried reinstalling nuendo but in vain.pls help!

I have the same problem with Nuendo, so I use surcode...
