Multichannel Decoder For Mpeg-2 File

Hi:
I have MP2 conformance bit-stream, test01.mp2.
This file has 5.1 channel configuration.

I tried to decode it with Lame(3.96.1) and foobar2000(0.8.3), but they could only decode the stereo channel part.

Does Lame can not decode MPEG-2 multichannel format?
Is there any decoder can do it?
Source code is plus.
Thanks.

Of course not.
BJC talked of MPEG2 Layer II audio streams with multichannel extension.

Use "mc decoder" from dist10 ISO reference code package which can be found on the web. I'm not aware of any other implementation.

BTW, if you're experimenting with conformance bitstreams by Philips, you should have looked at the bottom of the page where you can find "MPEG Audio Tools". It's a special compile of dist10 by Philips and includes a decoder. It can be found here.
