Title: rip music from dvd
Post by: richardk on 2014-04-10 02:57:04
Is there a program- maybe like Exact Audio Copy, for instance- that will rip the music tracks off some dvds my wife bought?

I don't want to watch them, just listen on a music player.

Thanks,
Richard

If you're not afraid of a bit of command-line tinkering, I suggest eac3to (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=125966).

For legal reasons, it is not able to decrypt any encrypted DVDs. If your DVDs are encrypted, you'll have to find some way to decrypt them before eac3to will be able to do anything.

MODERATION EDIT: Because some couldn't follow our rules about the circumvention of copy protection, this discussion will close.
