quality check

Hi. i have an mp3 album compressed in 192kbps. now i got a cdr with the same album but i donk know it it was written from mp3 or 1-1 copy of the retail.  i want to compress it to lossless. how i can check if it was compressid in mp3 or any other format and then written to cdr?
